About Us
At Fresh Plate Farm we are striving to produce quality vegetables and herbs that are NOT a GMO product. All of our plants are grown using NON GMO seed.

While our farm is not a certified organic farm, we garden using products that are suitable for organic farms. Some of which include planting cover crops to develop a green manure, companion planting, and row covers.

Fresh Plate Farm was begun to help provide quality, and nutrient rich produce to those that are not able to grow for themselves.
Our produce is available via farmers markets, direct sale from our farm, or in subscription boxes. Please see the what's happening page for more information on our box program.
Our History of Farming
We (Jon and Stacy) were both raised growing gardens each summer. After we were married we determined that our children would be raised on home grown produce. Thus began the foray into investigating how to get the most out of our garden, while producing fruits and vegetables that were organic and free from GMO and pesticides.

Over the years, while our home location altered, our desire to raise their own food didn't change.

Since the pandemic, finding sustainably grown produce has become more difficult,
we have now increased the size of our garden and have developed it into a small farm. Our desire is to help others have access to vegetables that are free of GMO, while using farming methods promote a healthy lifestyle and are good for the land.
